Chance The Rapper Performs Hosts Hurricane Maria Benefit Concert

The Future Panther Strikes AGAIN! — Chance The Rapper, also known as “Chance The Philanthropist” is always working hard on his next mission to help the victims of Hurricane Maria. Performing the last show on his tour at the Hollywood Bowl on Oct. 4, the Chicago rapper provided a live stream to watch his set, going through a few of his hit songs and some of his favorites from others.

Beginning around 9:10 p.m. Central Time, fans quickly tuned into the stream to catch him hitting the stage. Not only did he perform songs off of his Grammy Award-winning Coloring Book album from last year, but he also laced the crowd with some of his feature-friendly songs, such as “Waves” and “Ultralight Beam” off of Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo album from 2016.

The concert was livestreamed for fans in order to raise funds to aid Hurricane Maria victims through Direct Relief, linking fans straight to the website on the livestream page.

While Chance “ThePhilanthropist” is taking a break, ChanceTheRapper is continuously teasing fans with new music. Over the last month, the “No Problem” MC has been previewing new music on different platforms, including his new song with Daniel Caesar on The Late Show.
