WSTURadio.net Premiere: Atlanta’s Torion is ready to emerge as the newest phenom to watch for.
From signing his first deal at 14-years old to the big screen starring alongside Ice Cube and Nicki Minaj for film Barbershop 3: The Next Cut, 18-year old Atlanta multifaceted star Torion is ready to emerge as the young phenom he was destined to be. Personally working with Torion going back four years ago thanks to Sean “Joblo” Johnson (Outkast, Goodie Mob, Ying Yang Twins, Isaac Hayes III), I always knew Torion would be special. This year in particular has been stellar for the young star who played Anthony in the box office hit, ‘Barbershop 3: The Next Cut’ and he was called upon as a songwrite for one of 2016’s biggest breakout artists, Silento.
For his latest musical offering, Torion joins forces with fellow rising Atlanta star Dae Dae; not to mention who has had an amazing 2016, with a host of bangers under his belt from debut single “Wat U Mean” to “Spend It” and his intro mixtape The DefAnition under 300 Entertainment. “Dinero” isn’t the 14-year old Torion I met at The Artist Factory studios in Atlanta. Much credit to Grammy nominated Atlanta music producer/vocal coach Jan Smith (Usher, Justin Bieber, Drake, TLC, Ciara) who has been working with Torion who shows his range so comfortably on the hard hitting 808’s put together by DJ Luney Tunez. Both Torion and Dae Dae are tunnel vision on the paper, over the bass, “just give me the love, i’m not with the fuck shit, i’m tryna get money now,” “clearly, I got all the ladies in y’all city” Torion serenades. Dae Dae opens his verse with “large amounts in my account” “got rich off of “Wat U Mean” now what you mean,” and “got rich in one year like look at me, I got Torion with me.” Be on the lookout as the single will be available top of 2017, without further ado, stream the new cut below and let us know what you think.
