It’s with deep regret that we announce that Atlanta’s own Shawty Lo has passed away according to his official Twitter account due to a single car crash early this morning on I-285 southbound ramp to Cascade Road according to Fulton police spokeswoman Cpl. Maureen Smith. Shawty Lo was accompanied by two women when his white Audi went over the guardrail and hit two trees and burst into flames, ejecting Lo from his seat. The two women were injured and taken to Grady Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
